Christina came to PATH with 4 GCSE’s and BTEC’s in Access to Health and Social Care and Business and Aviation. Her problem was that her previous job roles were unrelated to her ideal job and this lack of experience made it difficult to get into employment. As she attended the one-to-one employability sessions, she learned how to write cover letters, CV’s and how to prepare for interviews. During the training she also got the chance to engage with other jobseekers and share ideas with them too.
“The skills and knowledge which I have gained will help me when applying for jobs in the future and I will have better skills such as interview and how I should prepare for them and interacting with others. It is a good way to develop skills you already have and have the support from PATH too also. You get help to build your confidence when attending interviews.”
