PATH Yorkshire delivered the Stonewall ‘Train the Trainer’ course on tackling homophobic, biphobic and transphobic (HBT) bullying to primary and secondary schools in Leeds, Bradford, Hull and Manchester.
Funded by the Department for Education and Government Equalities Office, the course included: practical strategies for tackling HBT bullying, an overview of HBT bullying and its impact on pupil achievement and school performance; how to meet legal and Ofsted requirements under the new inspection framework; and action planning for school champions.
